Who runs this site

teenacnetreatment.com is run as a standalone site and is responsible for the personal data described here. Questions about your data go to privacy@teenacnetreatment.com.

What gets recorded

How visits are counted

Your browser sends visit statistics to our own address, /api/open, which passes them on to an analytics provider (EU) that stores them inside the European Union. Your IP address is passed along so a rough location such as country or city can be worked out. A random code in session storage ties the pages of one visit together and disappears when you close the tab, so separate visits can't be linked. No statistics cookies are set. Visitors in the EU are only counted after they press "Allow".

Where the analysis button goes

Buttons such as "Start my analysis" go through teenacnetreatment.com/teen-scan to acne.today, a separate paid service. The link tells acne.today which site and which button you came from. Anything you share there, such as photos, answers or payment details, falls under acne.today's own privacy policy. Under-18s should use it together with a parent.
